This January, Story brought summer to the City to host our third London Summer Event Show at Banking Hall. The two-day event brought together industry agents and corporate event buyers to showcase a real mix of suppliers and venues.
The main hall transformed into a Street Party with hanging Union Jack flags, street lamps and cobbled flooring. A busker, dancers and stilt walkers made their way around the exhibitor stands, creating the perfect party atmosphere. The counting room became the Seaside, where visitors could enjoy delicious summer canapés whilst watching oyster shucking demonstrations.
Spanish restaurant Hispania helped transform our Countyside room for Story Gives Back, where we gave new suppliers a helping hand into the wonderful world of events. Hispania also hosted the seminar room, where talks by ILEA, London Filmed and Venue Search London took place.
Guests also had the opportunity to participate in exciting workshops, including a one-off pasta-making workshop with celebrity guest, Gennaro Contaldo, and The Jamie Oliver Cookery School.
This event left us dreaming of summer!
