Throwback to last month’s events | 6 events in 3 weeks
May was an extremely busy but great month for the Story team, not only was there the appearance of some long- awaited sunshine but our schedule was also jam packed with events! Take a look at some of the highlights…
1. Networking Event at ME London in Covent Garden
Kicking off our month of conferences was a networking event at the ever glamourous ME London in Covent Garden. Our client wanted a venue which reflected their cutting edge technology business, whilst providing their guests a wow setting for the night in London. Cold prosecco on arrival, personalised hashtags on guest bedroom mirrors, and branded lighting throughout really added special touches to this event. After a busy day of content, branded goody bags, and a round of cold beers, delegates made their way to the Radio Bar to carry on the party with spectacular views across our capital!
2. Two-day conference at Hilton Bankside & Banqueting House
Next up, we were all hands on deck for a 2-day conference for one of our clients, who were hosting guests from all over the world. One month prior to the event, Story stepped in to help the client with the logistical elements to the event from venue liaison, supplier management through to onsite management including overseeing the check in, show calling, managing the venue and catering team. In the evening, guests were also treated to a beautiful dinner at the stunning Banqueting House, a great contrast to the daytime venue and the perfect location to provide a little insight into our cities history!
3. Conference at the Ham Yard
Following this, our international client held their conference at The Ham Yard Hotel is such a fun venue which we love to work in, designed by Kit Kemp there are so many unique touches which make this such an interesting space – the roof terrace is one of our favourite prosecco spots! This was the perfect venue for our client hosting their first European conference and the in house theatre makes for a fun and different conference space.
4. The London Christmas Party Show at Christchurch Spitalfields
Finally, in the middle of our hectic month it was time to host our famous London Christmas Party Show, bringing together all kinds of suppliers, venues, and entertainers from all over London for one great exhibition! Our chosen venue this year was the historic Christchurch Spitalfields which provided a perfect setting for our ‘Storybook Christmas’ theme. We had everything from walking woodland trees, to ice queens, magical snow windows to all of the Christmas venues you could need, as well as some unique exhibitors showing us just how fun an exhibition stand can be. With more attendees than ever before and a fantastic mix of suppliers we can’t wait to see all of those Christmas events come to life… bring on the glitter!
