Happiness is prosecco and flowers and boy were the Story team treated to an evening of happiness at Hayford and Rhodes last week! The wonderful team opened up their warehouse space for ‘Bubbles & Blooms’, an afternoon of fizz, nibbles and floral design.
We began with a tour around their huge warehouse, talking about Christmas, visiting their flower fridges and understanding more about their ordering system – did you know Hayford and Rhodes have premium overnight delivery service nationwide? Well you do now!
We were then invited into their office where they had set up rows of flowers for us to indulge in a floral workshop. They initially went through the demonstration of how to make a bouquet, how to place the flowers in order to achieve a spiral formation, how to tie the bouquet and finally to wrap. We picked up some great tips about keeping our flowers fresh but most of all we had so much fun drinking bubbles and playing with flowers. The whole group were happy with their masterpieces and thrilled to be able to take home such beautiful blooms.
