We are here to give you the low down of some of our favourite theming ideas and inspiration that we have found to translate oh so well into an event…

Rustic Farmers Market

We recently created a rustic farmers market feel for Waitrose’s September launch to showcase their new season ranges and boy, did it fit well with the Autumn atmosphere outside the windows. Being inspired by the products and items you see everyday at any markets from crates, barrels, hessian, bare rustic wooden and of course foliage, we were able to use these in unconventional ways to display a range of Waitrose products. Pops of colour through flowers such as sunflowers and fruit really brings the whole look together.

Midsummer’s Night Dream

A classic but a goody… this theme can translate into any space, whether you want to go the full shazam or a more pared-back but still creative look, this is the theme for you. Think floral and sensory overload from beautiful floral archways, overgrowing foliage and whimsical creatures as waiters that will bring the whole look to life. The great thing about the theme, is it can be easily weaved into the food and beverage elements as well – the perfect way to really impress your guests.

Storybook

Bring to life your favourite storybooks and tales and take guests down memory lane of some of their best loved books. If your event is big enough, you could create a world of storybooks with different rooms representing different tales or you can focus on one story itself… either way, the only limitation with this theme is your imagination. From James and the Giant Peach to the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe… anything goes with this theme.
