London may be the capital of Great Britain and play home to some incredible venues but we can’t overlook the awesome and unique venues that are situated around the UK. Perhaps you have multiple offices around Britain and are looking for mutual ground to host your next event, well look no further… here are a few of our favourite spaces outside of London.
Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse, Liverpool
Located next to Stanley Dock, this impressive building steeped in history was once used to store rum and tobacco which had been imported from exotic locations. Now, this huge space has been adapted and remarkably developed into a hotel and large event space known as the Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse. Taking up the North Warehouse, the Titanic Hotel has 153 bedrooms with enough space to actually be able to swing that cat, all with beautiful modern and comforting decor. Attached to the North Warehouse is the Rum Warehouse hosting a range of events from conferences, banqueting feasts and large exhibitions seating up to 1400 delegates over the two levels and up to 1000 on the ground floor alone – there really isn’t anything this impressive venue can’t do.
Roundhouse, Derbyshire
A hidden gem located in the midlands, the Roundhouse is recognised as the oldest locomotive roundhouse in the world (pretty impressive). Offering a flexible and versatile space, this venue can host conferences, dinners, exhibitions and pop up markets. Hosting up to 2,500 guests for a conference in the main space with the option of smaller spaces if this is too big including unique pods holding up to 25 people or the Carriage Shop Theatre that fits 180 guests comfortably theatre style. So if you are looking for a unique and interesting venue that you can put your stamp on, then look no further than Derbyshire.
St George’s, Bristol
If you are looking for a beautiful venue in the picturesque area of Bristol, than St. George’s is the answer for you. Having recently undergone a £6.5M renovation project creating new spaces and modern facilities, this venue has both the beauty of a grade listed building and modern architecture seamlessly linked in harmony. The spaces in both the old and new buildings are linked perfectly to create an autonomous guest journey and perfect for hosting product launches, parties, awards ceremonies and performances hosting up to 700 guests. It really is a beautiful and peaceful building, perfect for your next event.
