We are extremely proud to announce that Story Events have received an accreditation by Investors in People (IIP). We may be a tad biased, but we’ve always thought that Story is a great place to work and develop a career in events, so we are delighted to be recognised in this way by IIP.
Having been through an initial six week process which included interviews with team members from all levels of the business, we were delighted to have already achieved an overall score that is over 10% above the IIP average. The process measures how well you’re doing at leading and supporting your people, compared to other organisations in your industry, or of your size; from how your people feel about the leadership team, to how you reward high performance and how you handle change.
Managing Director, Steph Daniels commented “Having started with Story as an Event Manager nearly six years ago, I can say from experience how the company promotes from within and focusses on personal development”.
“But this recognition is just the start of the IIP process, since their consultants have identified some key areas where there is room for improvement, which we will focus on as we move to our new larger offices in the New Year”.
