If, like us, you’re on the constant lookout for the latest, innovative venues to freshen up your corporate event, look no further! We’ve noted down a number of our recently discovered favourites and ones we can’t wait for this year to bring!
2020 will see this luxurious hotel group open their first Pan Pacific in Europe here in London! The 5-star hotel will be located within the multi-purpose One Bishopsgate Plaza, currently under construction close to Liverpool Street Station. Facilities within the 237-room hotel will include an 18th floor signature suite, indoor pool and a spa & fitness centre as well as a beautiful double-height ballroom with a capacity of 370 guests. With the interior designer being Yabu Pushelberg, responsible for venues such as the Four Seasons Toronto and W New York Times Square, we know that this space will be the epitome of style!
Another venue we’re waiting to make its debut in London is Outernet, which plans to open towards the end of the year just outside Tottenham Court station. The complex will include a 2,000-capacity music and events space, taking inspiration from nearby venues to enhance the existing cultural heritage in Soho. The Now Building is also to be included within the project, a live broadcast space that will contain 360-degree, 8k enabled floor-to-ceiling screens. This will guarantee to give any live music event the buzz it’s after!
The Londoner is definitely one to watch for the New Year! Not only is Leicester square home to our capital’s biggest film premiers, it is soon to be home to London’s deepest hotel basement at The Londoner. Staggering in scale, yet boutique in feel. The hotel will almost be as deep as it is tall, with guests able to descend 30-metres underground to enjoy a tranquil spa setting, unique banquet suites and two comfortable cinema rooms. However, the grand ballroom holding up to 1000 guests, will be this venue’s pièce de résistance. Oh, don’t worry, the top floor will not disappoint as guests can head up to the roof-top bar to take in the City’s most spectacular uninterrupted skyline!
Orange Yard
Orange Yard has remerged, and we have no doubt it’s vibrant makeover will live up to the iconic music venue it once was. Located in the heart of Soho, the space has played host to some big names dating back to the 70s, its retro seating and décor reminiscing this. The intimate space is perfect for corporate events, particularly drinks receptions looking for a 70s glam edge.
This quirky hotel, perfectly situated in the stylish Shoreditch area, is bound to give your meetings & conferences a freshen up in 2020. Mixing traditional British icons with contemporary art, the hotel provides 190 brand new rooms and 3 meeting spaces which hold embrace 80s themed décor, textures and bold colours. They’re also fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Therefore, this could create the perfect workspace, or how about a fun-filled, trendy cocktail reception? We’ll let you decide.
Parts of this venue were originally a 19th century warehouse. 10 Union Street now hosts 13 purpose-built event spaces, boosting natural daylight and a minimalistic, effortless style. State-of-the-art AV amenities are spread across all three floors and the spaces are made flexible with moveable walls! This is really useful for upcoming conferences & meetings or perhaps a product launch with an impressive reveal moment.
The seventh and final one to watch comes from the renowned brand Nobu. Stemming from the fresh and funky Japanese restaurants, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is due to open in the heart of Marylebone this spring. We’re certainly keeping our eyes peeled for updates to share! Taking inspiration from their international portfolio of hotels, we can expect a sophisticated offering, and a contemporary and elegant aesthetic featuring elements of Japanese culture. The hotel is set to feature 249 guest rooms and suites, their world-class restaurant, meeting spaces and a stunning ballroom, ideal for adding a touch of glam to your corporate events.
