A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to our amazing venue and supplier partners….
We just wanted to share with you some of the activities that our Story partners are doing to help the wider community during this challenging time. Whilst we do not have the facilities at Story to help in the same way, our staff and their families have been out delivering medicines from pharmacies to self-isolating local residents, packing tea bags for Help The Aged and shopping for neighbours (in addition to keeping the home fires burning by moving events for our existing clients!).
Smart Group re-open their kitchens to provide cooked meals for the NHS
Smart Group have announced that they have reopened their kitchens for a great cause, COOK-19, which provides cooked meals to key workers in the NHS.

Jimmy Garcia is helping Age UK through #DonateADinner
London-based catering and pop-up company, Jimmy Garcia Catering, have launched their #DonateADinner campaign in partnership with Age UK, delivering food to help the elderly in need at this critical time during the coronavirus pandemic.
With the Government’s recommendations for social distancing for people over 70, services to help the elderly have never been more in demand.
By donating just £3 to their GoFundMe page (which is less than a pint of beer!) you can help create a wholesome, nutrient-dense meal to go to particularly vulnerable elderly communities. In communities across the UK, older people are relying on their local Age UK to provide food supplies and much more.
Hybrid surprise key workers with beautiful flowers
London based florist, Hybrid, have been spreading the love by doing surprise flower drops to local schools and key workers to show their appreciation and to bring a smile to people’s faces.
The Hybrid team have been setting their alarms for a very early walk (as part of their once-a-day exercise) and have been leaving beautiful flower bouquets on the doorsteps of key workers to say thank you to all those people doing what they can to help.
Take a look at the amazing work Hybrid are doing by following their instagram page and watching their #LetHopeBloom story highlight.
