After six long months since the Story and Venue Search London team were together in real life, we were all so excited to finally be reunited for our annual company offsite. Taking place in the beautiful setting of Bateaux London’s recently refurbished The Pier venue, the day was a fantastic opportunity to get together and share ideas, look back on the past year we have had and what we have been through together as a company, and of course look forward to the future and the year ahead.
The day started with a light breakfast, followed by a business updates from our CEO, Sam Gill and the senior team. We then had a great breakout session, with the four teams presenting ideas that will help shape our future strategy for growth, before raising a glass to celebrate the end of a challenging year and to toast the return to live events. A delicious three-course lunch was served, followed by a creative hour of arts and crafts, provided by the wonderful team at Tea and Crafting.
We were beautifully looked after by the ever-attentive Bateaux London hospitality team throughout the day and the venue offered us the flexibility to hold our informal meetings, breakout-sessions and our seated lunch, another long-awaited treat for the team.
Finally, the whole team were treated to a two-hour Historical walking tour hosted by Imagine Experiences (one of our 2021 Story Gives Back stand winners), where we learned some great facts about our City’s past as we took in Embankment Gardens, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and Charing Cross, serenaded all the way by the many Scotland Football fans who were in town to support their team.
