We recently hosted the tenth edition of the London Summer Event Show (LSES), on the 20th and 21st February at the prestigious Freemason’s Hall. For the first time ever, the show ventured beyond the city limits, bringing together an impressive array of exhibitors ranging from event venues to talented decor companies. This show was our biggest exhibition yet with a diverse showcase of 150 venues and event suppliers exhibiting, making it a record breaking year! The event provided a unique platform for visitors to explore the latest trends and innovations in event planning and execution.
LSES’ 24 marked a significant milestone as it was the 10th year we have run the show! The exhibition attracted a fantastic number of qualified visitors throughout the two-day event, with our VIP agents’ evening on the Tuesday experiencing record numbers, and a 25% increase compared to last year’s turnout.
Guests had the opportunity to experience a diverse array of workshops and seminars designed to inspire and reset. From hands-on activities including biscuit decorating, cocktail making, and tablescaping to a tranquil wellness room offering sanctuary from the daily grind, there was something for everyone to enjoy! Our partnership with Be in Your Element also provided an opportunity for guests to unwind with massages, with donations going towards a charitable cause.
The agenda was further enriched by insightful seminars, including highlights such as “London’s Top New Venue Openings for 2024” by our good friends, Venue Search London. Further seminars included themes surrounding sustainability, innovative event planning, and culinary excellence led by Celebrity Chef, Atul Kochhar! It was truly an event of exploration, inspiration and learning, giving invaluable insights for all who attended.
Following the first day of the show we hosted an exclusive after party at Freemason’s Hall. The after party was held to celebrate the success of the first day of the show but also ten wonderful years of Story and the London Summer Event Show. Guests were treated to a lavish spread of delectable cocktails with live demos from Monoco’s Best Young Mixologist, Luigi Giannini, on the bar as an extra special touch. The drinks were also sponsored by premium vodka brand, NEFT Vodka. Moving Venue provided tantalising canapés and sumptuous bowl foods to keep guests full throughout the evening! As the night unfolded, the atmosphere was electrified by the sensational tunes of ‘The Function Band,’ ensuring an evening of pure entertainment!
The beautifully decadent Freemasons’ Hall doesn’t need much theming but the space was adorned with the most gorgeous summer florals and glitter balls galore, provided by our long standing suppliers, Hybrid Flowers, as well as the a mesmerising ceiling installation by Bubblegum Balloons. Entertainment throughout both days included, a spinning contortionist, a harpist, human disco balls and so much more, all curated by this year’s entertainment sponsors Beyond Repair Entertainment.
