Birch Selsdon:
With a penchant for going wild in 200 acres, just 30 minutes south of London. Preston Court & The Wilderness:
Preston Court & The Wilderness are two venues sat on our 600 acre estate in the east Kent countryside close to Canterbury. Preston Court offering ornate gardens, a Victorian Carousel, large Kent Barn and Lodge Barn with a bar situated around a central barnyard. The Wilderness offers a lakeside cabin and event Tepee’s in a woodland glade with a Champagne Shack and catering tent tucked behind the tepees. The venues can be hired individually or together with Glamping for each site which can bridge the two venues.
- The Capacity: Each site has a capacity for 120 guests seated for gala dinners. There is capacity to create larger bespoke accommodation and dining to suit individual preferences.

- What is the most exciting fact about your venue? In 1901 Admiral of the Fleet, Prince Louis of Battenberg, Father of Louis and Alice, leased the house as his family’s country home. Louis, later Lord Mountbatten of Burma, was the last Governor of India. Alice married Prince Andrew of Greece and was the mother of Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh. It is believed that Prince Andrew proposed to Alice in the gardens of Sopwell House.
