As the vibrant hues of Autumn begin to grace our surroundings, we find ourselves reflecting on the splendid memories from our summer soiree held in early August at the freshly unveiled Jack & Boule venue nestled in the heart of Waterloo.
The Story team rejoiced in yet another successful summer season, so it was time for us to embrace our playful and competitive spirit. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a trio of invigorating cocktail options and delectable small plates, featuring beef brisket croquettes, Mac n Cheese croquettes, and crispy chips. The atmosphere crackled with friendly rivalry as teams engaged in Boule games, whilst indulging in mouth-watering offerings from Nanny Bills and Rico Burritos.
The event exuded an intimate charm, owing to Jack and Boule’s thoughtfully designed space adjacent to courts 1 and 2, dedicated to private gatherings. This unique setting allowed for a delightful blend of seclusion and social interaction, enabling our group to enjoy personalised music selections.
Jack and Boule, a summer sensation of 2023, unfolded as a captivating pop-up, paying homage to the timeless allure of the classic French summer pursuit— boules. The venue boasts eight meticulously designed boules courts available for reservations six days a week. Complementing this experience are an array of enticing street food stalls and a craft bar offering bespoke cocktails, providing an inviting backdrop for exclusive team-building events or spirited social gatherings.
