On sunny summers evening not long we had the pleasure of working within the glorious Kensington Palace. We waited until the palace was closed to the public, the last tourists had left and then it was all systems go. Our suppliers bought in catering, production, and tons of kit to transform this venue into an evening reception space. The Orangery and terrace are perfect for events, especially summer evenings and as expected most guests were to be found out on the terrace enjoying the evening sun.
The brief for the event was that alongside the splendid setting, that the champagne should be flowing and the canapés plentiful. Our wonderful caterer Ampersand rose to the challenge and provided an incredible British feast including mini fish and chip cones, beef and ale puff pastry and welsh lamb shepherds pie croquettes red onion dip. As the evening drew to a close, we waved goodbye to guests with a smile on our faces from the ” knowledge that we were able to offer them the private use of a royal palace for the evening – an incredible experience.
