Bolt's Sizzling Summer Summit
We were tasked with orchestrating a summer summit offsite for the UK team at BOLT, marking their first in-person gathering since the pandemic. The event aimed to blend informative business sessions, engaging team-building activities, and a celebratory dinner and party, all set against the backdrop of their remarkable accomplishments over the past 18 months.
Event Brief
We were asked to create a summer summit offsite for the UK team at BOLT. Like many companies, this would be the first time that the team would be together in person since the pandemic. Therefore, they wanted an opportunity to share some business content, do some really fun, energising team building activities and round off the evening with a dinner and party. This was all in place to celebrate their incredible work over the last 18 months. An overnight stay was also included so the team could leave London/Birmingham and enjoy some much needed country air.
Delivery
The Beaumont Estate in Windsor was the perfect venue, offering easy transport options and a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle. Story Staff welcomed guests, who were treated to tea, coffee, and breakfast pastries on arrival. Attendees received branded swag bags containing essentials like a reusable water bottle and sanitising gel.
After a brief company update, guests enjoyed outdoor activities under blue skies, including archery and other “Claim Your Thrones” games. A buffet lunch was served before everyone switched to casual attire for the afternoon activities: the thrilling Wipe Out or the creative Picasso Picture Show.
The day concluded with a seated dinner in a stunning ballroom, where guests enjoyed Prosecco, music, and dancing. The next morning, after breakfast, everyone boarded coaches back to London or Birmingham.
Result
The guests were really able to relax and unwind. Also, this was key to celebrating the hard work they had done navigating their jobs during the pandemic. The new starters at BOLT were able to meet with colleagues and immerse themselves in the warm and energetic company culture.
