We delivered a highly impactful and hugely popular summer fun day out for a company of x300. The client wanted to ensure all guests were entertained throughout the day with a number of different activities that suited all ages. People would be flying in from all over Europe and so this was the one day where everyone could network and catch up with friendly faces. We wanted to offer something really unusual and have a focus to the day. We decided on creating a ‘Learn To Play Polo In The Park’ day out whereby the main attraction was of course the Polo itself. This was something very unique and unlike what people may have tried in the past.
The venue chosen was the very beautiful Hurtwood Polo Club. It couldn’t have been more fitting with it’s very large grounds and converted English barn, you certainly felt very far away from London (although it is actually less than an hour to travel there). We also incorporated a variety of additional activities to the day so that everyone was entertained at all times. These included Segway Polo, Crazy Mini Golf, Human Table Football (so much fun!) and Archery. This was a perfect mix of active and not so active and guests were able to choose 3 out of the 5 activities available to them. Guests were rotated throughout the day and we ensured everyone was well fed and watered. We even had a very cool Ice Cream Taxi driving around the grounds delivering delicious ice creams to keep everyone going. The day ended with a much deserved cold beverage in the marquee overlooking the Polo playing fields.
