Giving New Life to Leftover Event Equipment
Beyond the event, we've recently partnered with Event Cycle to donate surplus items to charities, reducing waste and making a positive impact.
A collaboration with Event Cycle
In the fast-paced world of event management, Story stands out for its creativity and client-focused service. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional experiences from start to finish, alleviating client stress and bringing their visions to life. Recently, we identified surplus items and, committed to reducing waste, partnered with Event Cycle to donate these goods to charities.
Through this collaboration, we successfully donated to various organisations, including Good Chance Theatre, which supports refugee artists. They received computers, glasses, wooden signage, and more, enhancing their office and rehearsal spaces while enriching the community.
The Covent Garden Dragon Hall Trust (CGDHT), a charity focused on meeting the needs of diverse communities through social and educational initiatives, gratefully received cameras, games, glass jars, and tote bags from us. The cameras will support digital photography workshops for their after-school clubs (ages 10-11) and media collective (ages 14-18), including projects where young people photograph safe and unsafe areas in their community. The donated games will be educational tools, helping youth explore game design concepts. The glass jars will be used for arts and crafts, while the tote bags will hold end-of-term gifts for the young participants.
