The team at Story Events spent an evening at the beautiful event space, The Brewery, which is perfect for any large corporate event. We were greeted by a host of friendly staff who served a sparkling drinks reception in the courtyard. This is a lovely space to enjoy a glass of bubbles or take a moment in the sun.
Each summer season The Brewery theme their two on-site marquees, making them an ideal space for a corporate summer party. We were transported a quintessentially British experience – Wimbledon! The décor consisted of beautiful bright bunting and gorgeous gingham draping. Perfectly poised picnic baskets were hung from the ceiling, flowers cascading out.
Canapés were cleverly created with the intention of tricking your taste buds. Dessert inspired hors d’oeuvres embraced spectacular savoury flavours. Artichoke eclairs, smoked salmon mille feuille and cheddar scones slathered in thyme butter all took centre stage. The foliage focused feast didn’t stop there as doughnuts hung from trees and chocolate logs were on display in the interactive dessert room. It really was like stepping into Willy Wonka’s factory!
The Story and Venue Search London teams got to meet the Food Director, who came out to introduce themselves and explain the menu making process. It was great to put a face to the people behind The Brewery.
The after party took place at The Grubstreet Author; the cosy, contemporary and exclusive sister venue to The Brewery. Cocktails flowed and music had everyone interacting and experiencing everything an event at The Brewery has to offer.
