The Story team recently attended the launch of Magazine London a new venue run by the Smart Group.
Located in the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula, Magazine has taken the title of ‘largest venue in London.’ The new exciting space can accommodate up to 3,000 people inside, with room for an extra 7,000 in the surrounding show-grounds.
The venue has an industrial style feel with areas designed to leave a lasting impression. The space is ideal for large scale conferences with the opportunity to have a formal three-course dinner to reach 3,000 hungry guests at the same time.
The evening showcased state-of-the-art lighting and AV, award-winning catering and spectacular floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The venue provides inspiring functional spaces, polished concrete floors and two black steel stairways that lead you up to the upper mezzanine. A unique, striking blank canvas offering breathtaking views and 3,205 square metres of versatile space. The interior also gives the opportunity to be creative with features including a waterfront deck that looks out over the iconic views of Canary Wharf.
Event possibilities at Magazine London are endless; from global brand events to conferences and exhibitions. Key features such as flexible surroundings and easy accessibility by being positioned right next to an Underground station increases the interest of the venue even further. A highlight of the evening was the delicious food provided by Magazine London’s catering partner, Moving Venue. With 35 years’ experience; the Story team was very impressed by their creative approach and thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas inspired menu and innovative style.
Not forgetting the extensive outdoor land, this is a never-ending opportunity for product launches, summer parties, vehicle displays and your very own firework display! This purpose-built event space is the new place to be and will be a favourite for the Story team to soon work with!
