The Story Events team were invited down to experience everything the Aviator Hotel Farnborough has to offer and they were not disappointed.
The luxury hotel is located right next to the TAG Farnborough Airport meaning it boasts panoramic views of the private runway which are not to be missed. Being just an hour outside of London within the Hampshire countryside it’s really is the perfect space to escape the city for Christmas! Arriving through the exclusive entrance, we were greeted by smart and friendly staff who took our cases before inviting us up the stylish staircase encompassed by beautiful circular balconies offering floor to ceiling views on every floor. Having met our host, we were walked through a selection of their versatile indoor and outdoor event spaces, state of the art technology, stylish interiors, a handful of their 169 guest bedrooms and award-winning food and beverage outlets. With five meeting rooms, many of which has access to the gorgeous terrace overlooking the private runway, there is so much scope for Story Events to provide you and your guests outdoor activities to get your body moving as well as your mind.
The bedrooms have stylish interiors with walnut panelling, beautiful bathrooms, crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen dressing the king-sized beds…we could really see why you would leave the city to visit this luxury escape. Relaxing for an hour or so we each enjoyed the complimentary movies, music library and Wi-Fi before the evening commenced.
The Sky Bar is the Hotel’s destination cocktail bar serving signature drinks and afternoon tea, depending on your preference. With opulent purple velvet seating, sheer curtains and an unforgettable sunset, the Sky Bar encapsulates style and seduction in one, meaning we were immediately transported away from the stresses of the everyday. Having enjoyed a few cocktails, we were then invited to take our seats in the Brassiere for a delicious dinner with brilliant company. Their menus are inspired by seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and it goes without saying were beautifully complimented by hand-picked boutique wines from around the world.
After an amazing night’s sleep, we delighted in the breakfast offering back in the Brasserie. Relishing in the continental breakfast treats before indulging in our A La Carte breakfast with coffee to start the day right. The Aviator is a venue guaranteed to leave a lasting impression and we can truly say it did not disappoint!
