Story's Birthday Bash at Jeru

On arrival, we made our way upstairs to the Jeru Garden. This tranquil oasis is surrounded by lush greenery, beautiful overhanging trees and a mirrored ceiling, and was the perfect setting to start our evening with a drinks reception. We were welcomed by delicious cocktails and mocktails, including some made with John Paul Jones Rum. They consisted of: Lowland Sour, Dundee Ranger, and lastly the Solway Tea Service.

After a lovely start to the evening, we made our way to the Sapphire room which encompasses refined elegance, with its sophisticated decor and soft lighting. This space exudes an aura of luxury and charm and felt tailor-made for the Story team. On entrance to the room, we were greeted by a gorgeous long table, adorned with florals and personalised gifts to truly celebrate each member of the team.

Story’s Chairman, Sam Gill, began the evening with a beautiful speech and was then followed by our Managing Directors, Steph Daniels and Ros Shelley. They touched on special memories and milestones over the years, and it was truly something to be proud of.

Jeru offers a truly remarkable culinary experience, combining Mediterranean cuisine with a Middle Eastern flair.

The celebrations were in full flow, and everyone made their way back to the Jeru Garden for a sing-off to Whitney Houston – who knew the Story team had great vocals! We danced the night away and enjoyed every minute.
