With virtual events becoming more and more popular, and with the festive season just around the corner, Story Events wanted to host an engaging, interactive and insightful webinar, sharing their secrets to hosting a successful virtual festive celebration.
DELIVERY
Presented live from our Story Studio in London Bridge, the webinar was hosted by our Account Director, Carly Begner, and Head of Events, Lauren Murtagh, using Remo as the platform of choice, allowing delegates to enter the event and network before and after the presentations.
The webinar started off with a look at the virtual Christmas party packages and possibilities for a festive celebration that will entertain guests and keep them engaged throughout the virtual event, before presenting our new Artisan Gifting service. During the webinar, Carly and Lauren were joined by some of our fantastic suppliers, who delivered multiple live experiences as well as giving their expert input, as well as delivering a pre-recorded overview from one of our suppliers. Before closing the webinar, our team took the time to engage with our guests for an interactive Q&A, answering some of their questions on virtual events.
As we brought the webinar to a close, our guests were treated to a special rendition on a song they had worked together to create from one of the suppliers, ensuring a high energy and exciting end to the session.
RESULTS
The webinar was attended by over 170 event buyers, with high audience engagement throughout, via the comments section, polls and Q&A.
It was a clear example of how in this virtual world we can successfully unite multiple attendees from various points across the UK, whilst also combining live and pre-recorded content and networking.
Feedback following the webinar has been extremely positive and has resulted in progressing conversations with clients and contacts, old and new, in delivering successful virtual festive celebrations.
