Story Events prioritises the well-being of clients, suppliers, and employees while continually reviewing and improving its policies to ensure inclusivity and social responsibility remain central to its operations.

We appreciate this is a complex and ever-changing field and so will continue to review and revise our policy as we see fit.

Uphold the Equality Act 2010, covering protected characteristics such as age, disability, gender reassignment, and more.

Oppose and avoid unlawful discrimination in all employment-related areas, including pay, grievances, dismissal, and development opportunities.

4. Promote Inclusive Practices

Encourage equality, diversity, and inclusion as best practices that benefit both employees and the organisation.

5. Foster a Harassment-Free Environment

Create a workplace free from bullying, harassment, and victimisation, with training for all staff on their rights and responsibilities.

6. Serious Action on Misconduct

Address complaints of discrimination or harassment seriously, treating severe cases as gross misconduct that could lead to dismissal.

7. Support Development

Provide opportunities for training and progression to help staff reach their full potential.

8. Merit-Based Decisions

Ensure decisions regarding staff are based on merit, except for lawful exceptions under the Equality Act.

9. Regular Policy Reviews

Regularly review and update employment practices and policies to maintain fairness and compliance with legal changes.
