Christchurch Summer Ball
At Christchurch, Oxford University, Story collaborated with the committee to manage and deliver their Summer ball, transforming four spaces into seasonal wonderlands.

Story was engaged by Christchurch, Oxford University to work alongside the committee members to manage and deliver their Summer ball.
Delivery
We transformed the four different spaces into the seasons, taking guests on a journey through Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Spring was filled with endless blossom trees, floral archway and flower wall. Live music filled the space with a choir and orchestra, stilt walkers, magicians and caricaturist mingling with guests. Fire dancers and a magnificent firework display to music marked the beginning of the ball. Guests made their way through to Summer, where the food vendors, fairground rides and main stage were waiting with the opportunity to take a ride on the ferris wheel, dodgems and swing boats. The headliners for the evening was Scouting for Girls. The Autumn and Winter bars featured various bands and DJ’s playing throughout the evening.
Result
Guests had an absolute ball with it lasting until 6:30am in the morning, the sign of a great event!
