Story Events collaborated with Revlon to orchestrate their inaugural incentive offsite event since the onset of the pandemic, appropriately named Always Connect. The event brought together hairdressers who achieved sales targets for a thrilling weekend at York Racecourse's grand finale.
Event Brief
Story Events worked alongside Revlon to seamlessly plan and execute their first incentive offsite since the pandemic. This was aptly named Always Connect. The client invited the hairdressers who hit sales targets to York Racecourse’s fantastic finale weekend!
Our sister company Venue Search London used their expert venue finding skills to source the perfect venue. Story’s end to end event management services then came into play. We were responsible for registration, guest travel, theming and branding, as well as managing all the venue and conference details and navigating any logistics at the races.
Delivery
The Hilton York hosted the client’s event, offering easy access to the racecourse and ample accommodation. Guests enjoyed welcome goody bags, networking at the gin bar, and a buffet breakfast. After a talk by the Commercial Director, they were transported to the racecourse for a day of exciting activities, including a photo moment and expert betting tips. The private box provided great catering, and the day ended with an informal buffet at the hotel. The event concluded on Saturday with departures, leaving guests with lasting memories.
Results
The client was thrilled with the event, stating how everything ran very smoothly. They have been congratulated and notably recognised as one of the first in their industry to host a networking incentive offsite of this magnitude and success.
