Brief
One of our valued clients wanted the perfect venue to host their September Summer Party, just a stone’s throw away from their London office. The brief was to find a venue that could effortlessly accommodate up to 600 guests, ensuring an unforgettable experience. They wanted somewhere that could adapt to different needs, serve delicious food, offer fun activities, and have backup plans in case of bad weather. So, the Story team leaped into action, turning this vision into a sensational reality.
Delivery
The event unfolded at the enchanting Shoreditch Gardens on the evening of Thursday 14th September 2023. The weather was well and truly on our side with it being one of the last evenings of summer this year!
The set up featured us adding a second sprawling stretch tent for up to 400 guests, adorned with bunting, colourful festoon lighting, and elegant uplighters. Embracing the theme of a festival with a touch of boho chic, we curated an outdoor oasis with a captivating selection of outdoor furniture. A vintage campervan photobooth, pampas inspired displays and pastel coloured flag poles were the perfect backdrop for making the party a night to remember.
There was a wonderful selection of KERB’s finest traders to keep guests well fed! Guests indulged in mouth-watering Bao Buns from Bian Dang, delectable Toasties from Deeny’s, savoury Kebabs from The Grilling Greek, irresistible dishes from Curry on Naanstop, and scrumptious Pizza by Well Kneaded. To finish off the savoury, Milktree Gelato offered a sweet treat in the form of scrumptious ice cream. For those with a taste for all things sweet, a delightful pick n mix trolley was also available for the entirety of the evening.
This Summer Soiree wouldn’t be complete without entertainment. Guests were serenaded by the melodies of the roaming acoustic trio, Wandering Hands, immersing themselves in the festival spirit! For a touch of glitter and glam, talented Glitter Brushrettes adorned guests with enchanting face paint. And of course, who can resist a little magic? The mysterious Maddox left guests spellbound with mind-boggling tricks and illusions.
As the sun dipped below the horizon and the ambiance came alive with twinkling lights, it was time for the Silent Disco. Guests danced the night away to three different music channels, ensuring there was a musical groove for everyone to sway to.
Result
The event had great attendance, and it was abundantly evident that guests had an absolute blast! Our delighted client described the event as ‘phenomenal’ making it the perfect ending to one of our last events of the summer.
