EVENT BRIEF
We were asked to create a summer summit offsite for the UK team at BOLT. Like many companies, this would be the first time that the team would be together in person since the pandemic. Therefore, they wanted an opportunity to share some business content, do some really fun, energising team building activities and round off the evening with a dinner and party. This was all in place to celebrate their incredible work over the last 18 months. An overnight stay was also included so the team could leave London/Birmingham and enjoy some much needed country air.
DELIVERY
The chosen venue was the gorgeous Beaumont Estate in Windsor. Easy transport options and a good distance away from the hubbub of the city, make this the perfect selection to experience a real rural escape. Story Staff greeted guests and helped them on coaches to Windsor. Upon arrival a spread of tea, coffee, and lovely breakfast pastries was waiting. After checking in everyone, Story gifted all attendees with a branded swag bag. This contained a bespoke lanyard, branded tote bag, a reusable water bottle and some survival essentials, including sanitising hand gel of course!
The team engaged with some business content and listened to a company update. Then they made their way to the beautiful grounds at Beaumont Estate, where we were lucky enough to have blue skies for the “Claim Your Thrones” activities. The guests loved embracing their inner Jon Snow with Archery, Ship Sinkers, Kubb and Armour Acquisition. A delicious and varied buffet lunch was served in The Beaumont Restaurant and guests changed into some clothes that they didn’t mind getting wet…
Two activities were available in the afternoon. Most opted for the hilarious, adrenaline fuelled Wipe Out, whilst others channelled a calmer, creative side with the Picasso Picture Show.
The teams completed their challenges and went to their rooms to get dressed for dinner. Met with a glass of Prosecco, the guests entered a beautiful ballroom for a seated dinner accompanied by a DJ and singer. Then they quite simply partied the night away!
The next morning, after breakfast, the guests took their respective coaches back to London/Birmingham.
RESULTS
The guests were really able to relax and unwind. Also, this was key to celebrating the hard work they had done navigating their jobs during the pandemic. The new starters at BOLT were able to meet with colleagues and immerse themselves in the warm and energetic company culture. The team at BOLT expressed their thanks to Story at creating brilliant event!
