BRIEF
We were approached with an exciting brief of creating ‘A Night Circus’ at Gray’s Inn for a corporate summer party for 220 guests. The Night Circus has an eclectic mix of wonderful creatures and characters, which was important to portray at the event.
DELIVERY
The concept developed over time with a heavy focus on lighting, draping and entertainment. In keeping with the theme, we opted for black and white draping with festoon lighting in the ceiling of the marquee. We built a 4ft Bird Cage, which had an aerial performer dressed in a black and white cat suit performing throughout the evening. Black and white patterned umbrellas and hoola hoops hung high in the trees and were enhanced by white uplighters against the beautiful trees flanking the gravel pathway in the garden. Central to the pathway was the white blossom wishing tree with baubles hanging at varying heights, filled with mini alcoholic and chocolate surprised for guests to help themselves.
